The Banana Shopping List app ("Application”), developed by Appinbox ("Developer"), allows you to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. Follow the steps below to submit a deletion request.
Step-by-Step Deletion Request
- Open the Banana Shopping List application on your device and sign in with the account you wish to delete.
- Navigate to tab Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm the prompt.
If you cannot access the application, you can alternatively send an e-mail to info@bananalistapp.comfrom the address associated with your Banana Shopping List account with the subject line “Delete My Account”.
What Happens to Your Data?
When your deletion request is confirmed, we permanently remove the following data within 7 days:
- Your e-mail address and authentication credentials
- All shopping lists, items and any notes you created
- Personal settings and preferences
The following data is retained but anonymisedso it can no longer be linked to you:
- Aggregated, non-identifiable usage analytics
- Crash reports without personal identifiers
Encrypted backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are automatically purged.
